Purple House will support you every step of the way! But don’t just take it from us! Check out a Day in the Life of a Dialysis Nurse Video, a welcome to Ntaria (Hermannsburg) and an introduction to our Purple House Home Base in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). We are currently operating in 20 different communities throughout the NT, WA and SA (check them out here), with 7 more on the way in 2026! Where possible, we will make best endeavours to accommodate specific location requests – though this is totally dependent on where we have vacancies. Cost of Living support : We offer free housing, additional annual leave, access to a work vehicle in community, free internet, and a work phone — making life more affordable and a great way to save money! Career advancement : You’ll have access to Ausmed Online CPD; with all permanent Nurses receiving free RSA Membership with which you can complete your post-Grad course through University of Tasmania Experience culture : We will provide comprehensive cultural training to prepare you for working in remote communities, and you’ll learn lots (and lots) on the job. Your free time will be filled with some of the most untouched, beautiful landscapes and awe-inspiring activities that most people will never witness! Relocation and Retention bonus : Depending on contract type / circumstances, relocation and / or repatriation allowance may be available. Permanent employees are also eligible to receive a $5,000 bonus after working remotely for 12 months Additional leave : Full-time remote Nurses receive 6+ weeks of annual leave (pro-rate), plus additional Study Leave after 12 months service Job satisfaction : Experience holistic, person-centred care where you build meaningful relationships with patients. Good news is; once you’re Oriented you can pop back in any time you like! Many of our Nurses bring their families and partners out to community with them! We’re here to support you wherever we can, both professionally and personally. Yes! We can sponsor international Nurses and can potentially provide some support for visa applications and relocation.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a haemodialysis nurse
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) registration
- An up-to-date police check and an unrestricted Driver’s License to be able to drive in the NT (we can support you acquiring these if you don’t already have them)
- Certification of Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current National Criminal History (police check) less than 6 months old
- Immunisation Status must include : COVID 19 vaccination (2 jabs + 1 booster) + Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG (bacilleCalmette–Guérin) vaccine, Influenza, Pertussis.
