Overview

TheRole

Weareseekingaskilledandmotivated WetServicesProjectEngineer tojoinourdynamicteam.Thisroleinvolvescontributingtothedesign,coordination,anddeliveryofwetservicesengineeringsolutionsacrossvariousprojects.Whiletheguidelinesoutlinedbelowserveasaframeworkfortherole,theyarenotexhaustiveandmayevolvebasedonprojectneedsandorganizationalpriorities.

Key Responsibilities

Thekeyresponsibilitiesaretoperformafullprojectengineeringscope,whichincludes :

PerformingfullplumbinganddrainagedesignsinaccordancewithSANS10252andSANS10400.KnowledgeofBritishcodesandapplyingrelatedtoplumbinganddrainageadvantageous.
Performtheoreticaldesign
Generatingprojectbudgets,generatingandmanagingvaluationcertificatesandcostreports.
Generatingtenderdocuments,specifications,measuringandproducingBillsofQuantities(B.O.Q’s)andcompilingJBCC-basedtenderdocuments;
Attendanceofsitevisitsandmeetingsandperforminganyactionsarisingtherefrom.

Qualifications and Experience Required

BScorBTechinMechanicalEngineeringfromanaccreditedUniversity

Minimumof3-5years’experienceinWetServicesDesignandprojectmanagement.MEPFBuildingservicesexperiencehighlyadvantageous

CandidateengineerwithECSA.ProfessionallyregisteredwithECSAhighlyadvantageous

AutodesksoftwareexperiencesuchasRevitandAutoCADSoftwareexperienceadvantageous

Bluebeamexperienceadvantageous

SolidknowledgeofSANS10252andSANS10400andsupplementalknowledgeoftheequivalent

CIBSE / BS / ASPEcodeshighlyadvantageous.

Solidanddemonstratedexperienceinprojectbudgets,valuationcertificatesandcostreports.

Solidanddemonstratedexperienceintenderdocuments,measuringofBillsofQuantities(BOQ’s)andcompilingJBCC-basedtenderdocuments

Key Competencies and Genericskills
