What We Are Looking For
Purpose of the job : To compile all Bill of material and ensure delivery thereof, oversee store inventory and project equipment and materials.
Key Performance Areas
- Managing the manufacturing supply and delivery of project materials.
- Finalising agreements with suppliers and compiling orders.
- Processing requisitions and ensuring departments receive necessary goods.
- Maintaining positive engagements with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts and managing delivery schedules.
- Prioritising cost‑efficient goods.
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Managing inventory and ensuring accurate records.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure the smooth flow of all materials.
- Work together with manufacturing team to plan all deliveries, handle delays and guarantee compliance with all material requests.
- Waste management.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE / Quality / Environmental / Energy.
Post Requirements
What Qualifications You Should Have
National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.Qualified Boilermaker with Trade Certificate.At least 3 years’ experience in coordinating material in a manufacturing environment.Experience in an explosive environment would be advantageous.Good communication, planning and organising skills.Highly organised, punctual and self‑motivated.An in‑depth understanding and working knowledge of the manufacturing / fabrication environment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience in planning and implementation of work activities.Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines both internally and externally.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer literacy.What We Offer You
