We are looking for an Instore Sales Person who will deal with in‑person customer interactions, selling products or services. They will be responsible for engaging with customers, and driving sales in store.
Key Responsibilities
- Instore sales
- Providing customer service and assistance in‑store, helping customers find products and make purchases.
- Assisting with product demonstrations, promotions, and displays.
- Building rapport with customers and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Processing sales transactions and managing cash flow.
Sales Goals
Meeting and exceeding sales targetsTracking sales performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.Essential Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Ability to build rapport with customers and establish long‑term relationships.Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and manage customer objections.Knowledge of product information and features, with the ability to explain benefits to customers.Technical skills, including proficiency in online platformsAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and sales strategies.Additional Responsibilities
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.Collaborating with other sales team members to achieve sales goals.Participating in sales training and development programs.Providing feedback on product improvements and customer preferences.Minimum requirements
Grade 12 (matric); and experience in the retail industry.
Language : Mainly English, Pedi (multilingual added advantage)
