Job descriptionExecution of data analytics and related projects / engagements; Engagement with clients and audit teams; Execution of complex and non-complex engagements; Take accountability for deliverables and feedback to managers and stakeholders; Contributing to the development of analytics solutions and go-to-market opportunities and activities. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings using non-technical language Demonstrated strong project management skill Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines effectively. Demonstrated strong problem solving and interpersonal skills Deadline oriented and able to prioritise own work Client-centric solution mindset Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with multiple role-play Sound risk and control knowledge and understanding Performance of analytics in an audit environment ETL and data preparation capabilities Development, testing and implementation of analytics solutions Scripting skills and experience Develop innovative analytics solutions to complex data project Technical experience with one or more of the following tools : Excel, SQL, Power BI, DAX, Idea, and / or Python Must have Dashboarding capabilities Continuous learning mindset Curious and innovative Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Consistently delivers high quality work Ability to meet deadlines (reliable and dependable) Able to multi-task Displays initiative and takes accountability for delivery of own work Supervises and monitors adherence to deadline for self Three-year qualification in Commerce, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst Strong knowledge of and experience with data analytics software (Power BI, ACL, Idea, SQL or similar). Qualifications / Certifications or Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Data Analytics, and technology specific certifications Research / Data Analysis jobs
