Graphic Designer – Join Our In-House Marketing Team
Location : Claremont, Cape Town
Faircape Group is a diverse organisation spanning Healthcare, Retirement Living, Telecommunications (Faircom), Utility Management (Inpower), and Property Management — all supported by one passionate, forward-thinking internal Marketing Team. You’ll be part of our in-house creative team, shaping how Faircape looks, feels, and communicates across multiple brands. You’ll work across multiple industries, from healthcare and hospitality to technology and property, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Supporting senior designers in various projects, including creating layouts, editing images, or preparing design files for production
- Responsible for creative concept, design and rollout of marketing collateral across the group
- Maintain design brand consistency according to brand guidelines across all deliverables for the Faircape Group
- Creating designs for use on various brand websites and social media platforms under the Faircape Group
- Provide creative concepts and outputs
- Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Managers to ensure creative output aligns with business objectives
- Keep up to date on design and advertising trends across different business / service offerings
- Share inspiring work with the Marketing team
- Communicate effectively across parts of the group, accepting feedback and changes as part of the process
- Use the digital filing system effectively and adhere to guidelines
- Communicate with suppliers to acquire quotes and sign off on soft proofs
- Source images from Shutterstock and Envato Elements
- Work as part of a close-knit marketing team to support the greater good of the company
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field from a recognised institutionExperience And Knowledge
Proven experience as a professional graphic designer – previous experience in an advertising, design agency or corporate environment is preferableDesign and DTP print collateral for in-house printingAbility to take a concept / brief from design through to printStrong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)Basic understanding of User Interface DesignExperience with a CRM platform (such as ZOHO, Mailchimp, Hubspot) is preferable but not essentialBasic understanding of the Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets)Experience with After Effects / Premiere Pro is a plus, but not essentialSkills & Attributes
Deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentConfident in taking work from concept through to final execution with accuracy and creative flairStrong problem-solving ability — able to translate ideas and objectives into effective visual communicationExceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in layout, typography, and overall design qualityA true team player who collaborates openly and supports collective creative successExcellent communication skills, both visual and verbalReceptive to constructive feedback and able to give clear direction when collaborating with othersSpecific Requirements

Mid-Senior levelFaircape offers above market-related salary. Salary will be dependent on experience, knowledge, qualifications, attributes and skills. Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 06h30 and 18h30.
