Operational Emergency Care Practitioner

Overview

Operational Emergency Care Practitioner at Mediclinic Group. This role focuses on delivering excellent critical care within the operational environment with sound clinical judgment and current evidence, while demonstrating clinical leadership with ER24.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls
• Administer patient care in line with scope of practice
• Market and maintain a positive public image for ER24
• Provide basic shift administration services

Qualifications

Required Education

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : Bachelors of Technology (Btech) Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor Emergency Medical Care

Desired Education

Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa; training to be completed during probation if not compliant at time of application.

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience

Desired Experience

Previous EMS Operational experience
