Overview

ISS International SpA is looking for a Loss Prevention Engineer in Doha (QATAR) to involvein an Offshore Oil & Gas Project.

Scope of work :

Carry out Loss Prevention Engineering work on the assigned project relevant to offshore wellhead / process platforms under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Loss Prevention Engineering work on the assigned project relevant to offshore wellhead / process platforms under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention philosophy / safety concepts, fire protection design basis.
• Develop hazard analysis, hazardous area classifications, and safety layouts as part of the project deliverables.
• Prepare specifications / criteria for passive fire protection (fireproofing), including schedules and layouts.
• Contribute to fire & gas design philosophy and fire and gas detection system layouts.
• Prepare layout drawings for safety equipment locations, escape routes and safety signs.
• Characterize firefighting protection systems and prepare relevant documents & layouts.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fire water networks and spray systems.
• Prepare firefighting, safety equipment, lifesaving equipment supply specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and review vendors documentation.
• Be familiar with Oil & Gas standards and international regulations.
• Prepare fire water network P&IDs.
