A dynamic Mobile Specialist is looking for an experienced and detail-orientated Sales Order Supervisor to join its Joburg division where you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate capture of sales orders across all channels. Working closely with the Warehouse and Sales teams, you will help provide excellent customer service to ensure that all customer orders are processed correctly and within tight deadlines. This position requires excellent organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, highly pressurised environment. Applicants will require Grade 12 / NQF Level 4, at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry including having processed between 800 – 1000 order per day. You also need to be proficient with SAP & have working knowledge with MS Excel at an intermediate level (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.) and able to understand mark-up’s / GP percentages and apply this practically.
Duties
Oversee Sales Order Administration
- Ensure data systems are accurate and up to date timeously.
- Receive sales orders, raise it on ERP system and distribute to relevant parties.
- Co-ordinate and arrange collections and deliveries with logistics and warehouse.
- Upload EDI invoices.
- Create BOM’s (Bill of Material).
- Raise authorised invoices and Credit Notes.
- Follow-up on all open sales orders.
- Monitor sales prices and margins, investigate discrepancies, and report back to manager as per deadline schedules.
- Ensure sales prices are updated timeously by relevant manager.
- Assist with any queries in timeously and in a professional manner.
Ensure accurate record keeping of Debtors information
Preparation of customer quotations.Create new customer applications / accounts in the system.Reconciliation and Reporting
Pull reports from the system and manipulate the data in excel using Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.Ensure that regular reports are sent to Warehouse / Sales / Operations Managers throughout the day.Follow up on exceptions and outliers.REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.Minimum 5-years’ experience in a similar position in FMCG industry.Experience processing between orders per day.Working knowledge and experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.).Experience working with SAP.Advanced numeracy skills.Ability to understand mark-up’s / GP percentages and apply this practically.Proficient in operational principles related to stock.Advantageous –
