As a Rigger at Sarens, you are an essential link in technically fascinating, large-scale projects in the world of heavy lifting.
Together with your team, you are pro-active and involved during both the
preparation and execution of heavy lifting operations with mobile cranes, where
quality and safety are top priorities. This is a hands-on outdoor role with plenty of variety in tasks, locations, and working hours!
PROFILE
- Project preparation in team : go over the assignment briefing, check the documented instructions (planning instructions, lifting plans, .
- Focus on safety : always apply safety regulations (those of the site and of Sarens itself), complete the LMRA ( Last Minute Risk Analysis ), ensure that colleagues / clients / suppliers follow safety rules, and take additional safety measures when needed.
- Assist with crane assembly and disassembly.
- Guide loads during lifting operations : act as the “eyes of the crane operator,” directing movements and providing accurate and clear information to the crane operator.
- Attach loads during lifting operations : correctly connect the crane hook to the load.
- Properly manage lifting equipment.
- Depending on the assignment or client, work independently or as part of a team of riggers.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical affinity through hobby, education, or similar background.Experience as a rigger is an advantage but not required — we will provide the necessary training!Nice to have (but not required) : a certificate for attaching critical loads (IS-006) and / or a safety certificate (VCA).Possess a category B drivers licence.Flexible attitude regarding tasks, working hours, and work locations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
