Job descriptionLead the development of solar energy projects from concept to completion, including site selection, permitting, design, financing, and construction Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis to assess the viability of projects Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and contractors Prepare and submit project proposals, budgets, and schedules Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Oversee construction and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations Monitor and report on project progress, including coordinating with internal and external partners Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies in renewable energy to inform project development decisions Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for new projects and partnerships.

Job Title : Project Developer
Location : Cape Town, South Africa
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy projects, specifically in solar energy
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the local regulatory environment and permitting processes related to renewable energy projects
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies and financial modeling for renewable energy projects
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
