Accountant

Lexdan Select is assisting a property / hospitality company in their search for an Accountant, based in Constantia.

Salary : R35 000 to R40 000 p.m.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Manage the full accounting function for a multi-entity group
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
• Review and reconcile municipal and utility accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are captured accurately.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, and creditors.
• Prepare and submit VAT, tax, and other statutory returns.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Liaise with auditors, property / hotel managers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS standards, and relevant legislation.
