Job Description

Your duties will encompass :

• Assist and support the Buying Department in the procurement of all raw materials, consumables, hardware, and components required by the manufacturing plant.
• Assist with daily purchasing of all factory requirements.
• Place orders accurately in line with production schedules and stock requirements.
• Monitor lead times and ensure timely delivery to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers.
• Obtain competitive quotations and set up tender comparisons to secure the best prices and terms.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, payment terms, and supply agreements within company policy.
• Track stock levels of key consumables and raw materials to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, quotations, supplier price lists, and tender comparisons.
• Process purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery notes.
• Understand the companys manufacturing materials flow thru the production lines.
