Buchule Engineers (PTY) Ltd is seeking a Design Technologist / Engineer with extensive experience in bulk water, wastewater and sewer projects. The Designer will be based in the Queenstown office in the Eastern Cape.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently execute all design stages from designs to technical reports.
 - Ensure team delivery of projects; source required information, clarity, tools and support to enable team success.
 - Take ownership and lead on technical matters on assigned projects.
 - Prepare technical engineering reports, designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
 
DETAIL DESIGN OF CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES
Preliminary site investigations, data collection and feasibility studies.Calculate scheme demands for water and sewer networks.Design water and sewer reticulation and bulk networks.Design sewer and water pump stations.Design water purification systems and wastewater treatment plants.Design stormwater, roads, structures and general civil engineering services (advantageous).DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
NQF 7 Qualification in Civil Engineering.Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).5+ years experience as a Design Engineer / Technologist in a design office.Knowledge of design standards and contracts such as SANS, COTO, GCC, JBCC.APPLICATION SUBMISSION
