Data Lead

Overview

Our client in the Telco sector is looking for a Data Lead on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months.

We are seeking a results-driven Data Lead to oversee the end-to-end data migration strategy and execution within a BSS transformation program. This role is pivotal in aligning business, technical and vendor stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and compliant migration of customer product and billing data across legacy and target platforms.

This role is both strategic and hands‑on requiring strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to collaborate across business and IT teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience in data management roles with at least 3 years as a Data Lead on BSS or enterprise transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of BSS domains and data models customer billing product catalog order usage etc.
• Proven experience in data migration from legacy systems to modern BSS platforms (e.g. Amdocs Netcracker Ericsson).
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data profiling, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Azure Purview, Alation).
• Experience working with SQL, data modelling tools and scripting languages for data analysis or validation.
• Solid understanding of data privacy and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) in telecom contexts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to lead cross‑functional teams and vendor resources.
