Job Responsibilities :
- Supervision of site machinery (General Machinery Regulations 2)
- Supervise planned maintenance, projects & Production job cards.
- Coordinate electrical & mechanical installations
- Carry out safety inspections on equipment and plant machinery
- Ensure corrections on faulty machinery
- Ensure safe work procedures are developed and complied with.
- Understanding of Pressure Equipment Regulations, Electrical Machinery Regulations, Facilities Regulations.
- Ensure that the machinery is designed and sized appropriately.
- Implement control measures when engineering changes are made.
- Keep technical records required by standard engineering practice or legal and other requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance management programmes and ensure the statutory machinery records are kept and maintained.
Qualification and Experience :
At least 10 years experience as an graduate EngineerExtensive PLC fault finding, programming and installationExperience in installation of AC / DC variable speed drives and commissioningGood knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and installationsMinimum N6 or T3Strong electrical or mechanical fault-finding skillsKnowledge, Skills and Attributes :
Strong leadership and management qualities providing on site direction and leadership for artisansMust have good communication skillsComputer literateAbility to work under pressure and minimise down time on production machinesMust be available to work overtime when required
