Engineering Manager Winders

Hire Resolves Client is looking for an Engineering Manager : Winders to be based at a Mine in the North West!

Responsibilities :

• Legally appointed 2.13.1 ensuring full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and all winder-related statutory requirements.
• Provide expert technical leadership to ensure the safe reliable and efficient operation of all winders and associated shaft systems.
• Audit review and update Winder Codes of Practice (COPs) standards and regulations to maintain operational excellence and legal compliance.
• Define and oversee winder specifications upgrades and capital projects in collaboration with OEMs and consultants to ensure long-term equipment sustainability.
• Lead train and mentor winder personnel driving performance skills development and readiness to respond effectively to breakdowns and operational challenges.
Requirements :
• Grade 12
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines and Works
• 10 years working experience commissioning fault finding and conducting repairs on Winders
• Valid Drivers License Code 08
