Senior UX / UI Designer

About the role

If so, you could be a great fit as a Senior UX / UI Designer within our remote team in Cape Town.

As a Senior UX / UI Designer at EPAM, you will conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, and use the information to create site maps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes. This is a great opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team of designers, UX researchers, copywriters, and strategists.

Responsibilities

• Lead the user experience on a range of project types, from design and build to research / discovery.
• Organize and facilitate workshops with the support of the UX Director.
• Plan and run user research activities, gather and organize findings.
• Reuse and suggest new user-centric methodologies to frame problems / needs.
• Proactively challenge the design process and team members to consistently achieve the best outcome.
• Continue to learn and develop skills across UX Strategy, Design Research, IA / Interaction Design, Service Design, Product Development, and Thought Leadership.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support their learning and development.
