Pharmacy Assistant – Mediclinic Southern Africa

Reference # : 64265 | Workplace : On‑site | Employment Type : Permanent | Location : Paarl, Western Cape

Job Purpose : To collect and deliver pharmaceutical items / products and related documents within the hospital, ensuring appropriate storage, handling, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collect and deliver pharmaceutical items / products and related documents between units and stores.
  • Ensure collections and deliveries are made from / to units and stores.
  • Provide messenger and administrative service to the pharmacy.

Required Education : Grade 12.

Desired Education : None.

Required Experience : None.

Desired Experience : 1–2 years working in or exposed to a private hospital environment.

Required Knowledge & Skills :

  • Storage conditions of pharmaceutical products
  • Cold chain policy
  • Handling of hazardous substances
