Senior Manager : API, Microservices and Channel Platforms

The role is responsible to develop and maintain the design, development, and delivery of business-critical APIs and Microservices across the group to meet current and future enterprise software and application needs.

This role is responsible to oversee and manage the following API, Microservices and Channel Platform portfolios within the Technology Function :

API Architecture management, Design & Development

Microservices Design, Implementation and Management

Channels & Platforms Management & Integration

The role is also responsible to contribute to the overall strategic goals through software and application development that meets and exceeds the intent of the design of the application.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications, insurance, banking, mobile money, or software engineering

Manager track record of 3-4 years or more; with at least 3 years experience in telecommunications, software engineering, API & Microservices design, development and management, business critical applications design and development or platform management

Good understanding of software and solution architecture

Experience with technologies such as API Management, API Gateway

Experience with Microservices and orchestration architecture and frameworks
