Job Objectives
Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of MPTs implementation projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and manage expectations.Adhere SLA’s requirements and specifications to understand business requirements.Ensure adherence to project and timing plan in line with product development timing programsElimination of WasteImplement and manage manufacturing improvements in line with delegated projects.Driving the business manufacturing excellence strategy by deploying lean principles in line with agreed projects.Identify, evaluate & implement improvement idea that result in tangible improvements in productivity, elimination of waste and deliver the objectives set out in the 4 pillar strategyEffective management and deployment of resource in line with delegated areas and projectsReview PQs MonthlyManage A3 problem solving activity to eliminate waste & improve production within areas of controlManage ME data5s and Safety / EnvironmentComply with SHEMS procedures & requirements.Manage and improve 5s in the plant according to the 5s Audit sheetManage and improve safety within the working area and meet safety targets for that areaQualityImplement & uphold quality standards to reduce defects within the plant, as per targets defined by the quality control board
Quality Management : Engage with internal / external customers and respond to concerns / requests raised by the customer.Part Quality : Responsible for delegated elements of APQP process.People ManagementGuide, Engage and motivate the TIE team
Communicate effectively amongst TIE teamWork with a clear vision and direction amongst your TIE teamSupport to all training requirement to ensure the team meet the expectationsTechnical skills and specialist knowledge

3-5 years relevant experience preferably in the Automotive IndustryQualifications
Grade 12 or equivalentProject management(advantageous)Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No 55 of 1998 and any amendments thereto, Ramsay Engineering (PTY)LTD Internal Recruitment Policy as well as the Employment Equity Plan.
