Responsibilities
- Ensure all Bar Packing specifications are followed, and all bar sheets are recorded accurately and kept for 12 months.
- Ensure that all shipments received are checked in and reported on the relevant systems.
- Work closely with clearing agents to ensure effective running of the Bond Store.
- Ensure that all administrative work is completed accurately and filed for audit purposes.
- Ensure that the Bond Store is always audit ready.
- Ensure that the Bond Store is SARS Customs ready and SARS compliant at all times.
- Ensure that the daily Box times are met as per the required box times.
- Ensure that the relevant Linen is available at all times before truck departure; if it is not delivered by the Laundry company, you are required to call and enquire to ensure that there is no delay encountered.
- Ensure that all equipment is packed as per GLP’s including dead head’s.
- Ensure that all equipment packed is clean and free from chips or being broken.
- Responsible for the movement of all airline equipment to correct allocations and store in the designated areas as per the department specification.
- Ensure that equipment carts are packed according to client Equipment loading plan (ELP) and issued to subordinates daily.
- Ensure that the correct GLP’s are placed securely on the carts.
- Check and sign the GLP’s.
- Take pictures of the GLP’s for record purposes.
- Ensure the equipment breakages are recorded and reported to the manager.
- Ensure that equal exchange of equipment is followed and that excess equipment is returned back to customer with prior notification and documented for stock reports and ensure that clients are notified when stock levels are low.
- Ensure that the kitting process’s are followed.
- Ensure that all equipment are covered with plastic in their respective cages.
- Ensure that all machines are cleaned at the end of each shift.
- Check that all trolleys are washed and stored correctly in holding area.
- Ensure correct chemicals are used during the washing process.
- Check that crates are available and clean.
- Ensure that chemicals are ordered and stored correctly.
- Further ensure that the chemicals are used according to instructions and safety of oneself is adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that all documentation is completed, this includes CCP, breakage, temperature controls, incoming counts, stock requisition, chemical issues etc.
- Ensure that Halal, Kosher and general equipment are washed separately as per their requirements.
- No local substitutions must be made unless written instruction has been given to you by a manager to do so.
- Ensure that ovens & oven racks are washed and stored correctly for production kitchen.
- Ensure that the department is managed and controlled efficiently in line with the company’s requirements.
- Ensure that the Dishwashers are cleaned daily.
- Ensure that the Unit’s Dishroom plan is followed daily and effectively.
- Ensure FIFO of trolley’s.
- Ensure the trolley bath process is used effectively daily for each flight.
- Report any pest sightings immediately.
- Any other reasonable task that may be required by Top Management.
