Project Manager

A Global Manufacturing Concern is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager / Industrial Engineer to join their Durban office.

Duties & Responsibilities

This person will lead projects from concept to implementation, drive operational excellence and ensure continuous improvement in processes.

• Work with SC Leads to drive a pipeline of cost saving initiatives, and System enhancements to drive automation / embracing digitalization, including E-commerce solution
• Process enhancement - continuous enhancement of processes
• Drive future enhancements - e.g., e-commerce, digitalization
• Manage projects from inception to execution
• Continuous improvement involves quality control, just-in-time delivery, standardized work, the use of efficient equipment, and the elimination of waste
• Support and Development of Digitalization, automation of reporting including, for example, Dashboards
