What You'll Be Doing
Organisational Effectiveness & Design
Partner with the Head of OE & Total Rewards to design future-fit models for high-performing teamsDevelop and implement organisational structures that align with our strategy and cultureLead change management initiatives that build resilience and enable smooth transformation across the businessTalent & Succession Management
Build and embed dynamic talent and succession strategies to futureproof leadership pipelinesContinuously review and improve the talent ecosystem to align with evolving business needsTrack impact through analytics and report on readiness, risk, and bench strengthPerformance Management
Design performance management processes that are simple, human, and performance-enhancingMonitor impact through data insights and stakeholder feedbackCoach managers and teams on performance conversations and accountabilityStrategic Workforce Planning (SWP)
Lead the development of SWP frameworks to help the business anticipate and respond to future capability needsCollaborate with People Partners and senior leaders to align workforce supply with demandUse data and modelling to influence smart resourcing decisionsLeadership Development
Craft and launch leadership programmes that inspire, challenge, and grow our people leadersBuild a culture of continuous development through learning journeys and capability-building initiativesMonitor leadership effectiveness and report on key success metricsOnboarding & Offboarding Excellence
Design meaningful onboarding and offboarding experiences that strengthen employee connection and engagementUse feedback loops to evolve these journeys and ensure a positive impression at every touchpointSupport knowledge transfer and continuity across the employee lifecycleChange Management & Communication
Build and deploy agile change management models that support people through transformationDevelop internal communication strategies that drive awareness and adoptionEvaluate the success of change efforts and recommend enhancementsAnalytics & Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and success measures across all OE initiativesTranslate insights into strategic action and share findings with HC leadershipLeverage tools like Power BI and Excel to present data in visually compelling waysResearch & Innovation
Continuously scan the external environment for best practices and trends in organisational effectivenessBenchmark Mukuru’s frameworks against industry standards and suggest innovative enhancementsCollaborate across teams to pilot and implement new approachesWhat You’ll Bring
Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)Honours in Industrial Psychology or HCM (Essential)Change management certification (Beneficial)Registered Industrial Psychologist (HPCSA) (Essential)Experience
5+ years in Organisation Development / Design in a corporate or consulting environmentStrong experience working across performance management, talent, and organisational changeExperience in designing and implementing leadership and workforce planning frameworksSkills & Tools
Deep knowledge of organisational design, talent, and performance management frameworksAdvanced Excel and Power BI skillsPowerPoint wizardry with the ability to tell stories through dataStrong research and development capabilityProject management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreamsHigh emotional intelligence, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skillsHuman Resources jobs
