Join Exxaro Resources as a Technical Analyst, IM, based in Kriel, South Africa. As the technical lead, you'll manage system integrations, upgrades, and ensure successful IT / OT project handovers. Your expertise will be vital in resolving system incidents and coordinating with multi-vendor and internal teams for consistent service delivery. Key responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure and application stability, driving efficiency through automation, and managing risks to ensure business continuity. You will also provide strategic input into IM planning and influence design decisions. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant field (Essential / Minimum)

3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and applications lifecycle management (Essential / Minimum)

Experience in project delivery and handover processes (Essential / Minimum)

Exposure to OT systems in a mining environment for 2-3 years (Recommended / Desirable)

ITIL Foundation Certificate (Essential / Minimum)

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Recommended / Desirable)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (Recommended / Desirable)

CompTIA Cloud+ certification (Recommended / Desirable)

Certificate of Fitness (Essential / Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)

Psychometric Assessment (Essential / Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure the operational stability and performance of IM infrastructure and business-critical applications.

Lead and manage the resolution of complex incidents, providing expertise in troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Coordinate with multi-vendor and internal support teams to deliver consistent and reliable service.

Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement preventative measures to enhance system reliability.

Oversee the change control processes, including risk mitigation and adherence to governance standards.

Collaborate on IT / OT project handovers, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with security standards.

Monitor infrastructure performance and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to cybersecurity controls.

Drive efficiency and automation within IM operations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization.

Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Manage technical risks and ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place.
