Job Description
Duties will include :
- Cost tendering, procurement, cost estimate, cost planning and cost management,
- Analysing terms and conditions in the contract
- Predicting potential risks in the project and taking precautions to mitigate such
- Forecasting the costs of different materials needed for the project
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies
Qualifications
Degree in Quantity SurveyingProfessional Registration would be advantageousSkills
5+years post-graduate experience in Civil Works Bulk Earthworks / Civil StructuresExposure to professional costing technology such as CCS / Candy and Buildsmart will be requiredGood communication skillsValid drivers licenseOwn reliable transportBenefits
