A company is seeking a Marketing manager who is proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team with day-to-day operational, creative, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and is eager to learn about digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
Fluent in Afrikaans (speaking, typing and writing)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Support in managing and updating website content, social media posts, and marketing assets
- Coordinate content creation (copy, images, videos) and maintain brand consistency across all materials
- Help compile campaign performance reports and track key marketing metrics
- Manage internal requests for marketing materials, templates, or social media content
- Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and basic CRM data management
- Liaise with external vendors and agencies when needed (creative, digital, print)
- Conduct competitor research and market analysis as requested
- Help maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of tasks
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing, advertising, or communications roleDiploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication (English; Afrikaans a plus)Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar toolsBasic understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and digital marketing principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reportingAbility to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
