We are a fast-growing US-based company seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our finance and HR operations. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll expertise to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll processing while supporting related HR and financial workflows. This is a key role that bridges the gap between our finance and people functions.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and improving payroll processes, collaborating with HR and Finance to streamline operations, and supporting system-related needs. This role also involves handling reporting, compliance, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Support payroll system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare custom reports and dashboards.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing payroll, ideally in a fast-paced environment.Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Proven experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex, or similar).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.Must be available to work during US Eastern Time (EST) hours .Bonus
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar).Exposure to finance systems or accounting workflows.Benefits
