Pre-Sales Consultant – Lease Accounting Software (Remote, South Africa)

Remote People is excited to partner with a global SaaS provider expanding into the UK—now hiring a technically skilled Pre-Sales Consultant based in South Africa. This role supports UK market growth and reports directly to the Australian leadership team, connecting you with expert teams and high‑level decision makers across continents.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver live product demos to UK accounting firms and finance teams
  • Act as a lease accounting expert, with strong knowledge in IFRS 16 and FRS 102
  • Set up demo environments, configure Excel‑based data samples, and support early onboarding
  • Handle technical Q&A during sales process with clarity and professionalism
  • Partner with sales and product leaders—including those in Australia—for feedback, pain points, and demo insights

    • Your Background

  • 3+ years in lease accounting, financial reporting, or pre‑sales / solution consulting for accounting / ERP software
  • Solid expertise in IFRS 16 and compliance workflows
  • Advanced Excel skills (lease schedules, interest calculations, amortization)
  • Confident presenting with Zoom / Teams to senior leaders; excellent English communication

    • Bonus Points For

  • Experience with cloud accounting / ERP / lease solutions (SAP, Oracle, Sage, NetSuite)
  • Prior SaaS consulting or remote, international team experience
  • Team‑based performance bonus : 10–20% (typically tied to demo‑to‑close conversion, pre‑sales efficiency, and team sales outcomes—quarterly bonuses, not individual quota)
  • Work closely with leadership teams in Australia, UK, and South Africa
