We are a forward‑thinking audit and advisory practice with a specialist division dedicated to Research & Development (R&D) tax credits and grant advisory . Our mission is to help innovative companies unlock funding opportunities that fuel growth, investment, and technological advancement.

We are expanding our South African remote team to support our UK‑based business development function and are seeking a motivated and professional B2B Sales Executive to join us.

Role Overview

As a B2B Sales Executive , you will play a key role in driving new business by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with UK‑based companies that may be eligible for R&D tax incentives or innovation funding. You’ll act as the first point of contact—qualifying leads, managing outreach campaigns, and booking consultations for our technical specialists.

This role is ideal for a confident communicator with a background in B2B sales, financial services, or professional advisory , and who enjoys working in a target‑driven, consultative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to UK businesses in innovation‑led sectors (e.g., tech, engineering, manufacturing, life sciences).
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for R&D tax credit and grant advisory services.
  • Manage inbound inquiries, follow up on marketing leads, and schedule discovery calls for the R&D advisory team.
  • Build relationships with CFOs, finance directors, and business owners through consultative conversations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot or similar) and manage a steady pipeline of prospects.
  • Collaborate with the UK audit and advisory teams to align lead generation with service delivery capacity.
  • Meet and exceed monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified meetings, and conversions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, funding changes, and R&D eligibility criteria to communicate value effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in professional services, finance, or SaaS environments.
  • Strong communication and rapport‑building skills with a confident, professional phone and email manner.
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
  • Prior exposure to R&D tax credits, accounting, or audit services (advantageous but not essential).
