Request for Information Department
The Global Business Operations (GBO) Request for Information (RFI) Department plays a pivotal role in providing information on IQVIA’s capabilities and services worldwide, focusing on accuracy, reproducibility, and providing a competitive advantage for IQVIA.
The RFI Department specializes in collating data from the entire IQVIA Human Data Sciences infrastructure to answer stakeholder questions in various formats.
They are experts in translating stakeholder questions into customer-facing responses, ranging from simple questionnaires and eSourcing tool responses to white papers and preferred provider responses that showcase IQVIA's global capabilities.
PURPOSE
Manage comprehensive, timely, and accurate responses to stakeholders' requests for information, supporting global sales teams and internal clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, organize, and write corporate capabilities and experience documents for proposals, sales initiatives, and customer questionnaires.
- Lead teams of subject matter experts from multiple disciplines, coordinating their inputs to prepare formal replies to global outsourcing and preferred provider RFIs.
- Perform quality control edits on all documents and work products.
- Identify, test, and implement process improvements for RFI information storage and retrieval systems.
- Serve as the principal responder to internal and external information requests.
- Contribute to the enhancement of RFI information storage and retrieval systems.
- Maintain up-to-date company, industry, and competitor research databases.
- Conduct company, industry, and competitor research as needed.
- Participate in developing and maintaining department information sources, templates, and related materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of CRO, pharmaceutical, or related industries.Subject Matter Expertise in core IQVIA business lines to lead focused responses within the area of expertise.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Excellent writing and editing skills.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, Finance, IT, or related fields.At least 5 years of experience in Proposal and / or Contract Management, Marketing, Finance, IT, Business Development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least 5 additional years of operational experience or Subject Matter Expertise in core IQVIA business lines or comparable industry / competitor expertise.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
