Job Purpose
Sun Bet as the online sports betting division of Sun International will lead the alternative gaming strategy and business objectives, providing thought leadership and advice on sports betting product performance, revenue growth, operational governance and service standards, as well as building strategic relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; and leading the integration of online sports betting projects into operations.The Accounts Clerk will be responsible to provide transactional and administrative support to the Accountants in the processing of financial accounting entries and the reconciliation of accounting transactions for SunBet in line with Company standards and regulations.Key Performance Areas
Review and process purchase orders for allocated suppliersFollow-up and submit invoices to SSC for processing and paymentPrepare and submit retail invoices for Accounts receivable (SSC) for billingReview and process SunBet corporate credit cardsReview and process SunBet employee expense claimsChecking of internal accommodation billing for validity and accuracy and reallocate where necessaryReview processed internal billing for correct allocationReview PO and RNI reports regularly to address long outstanding timeProcessing accruals for allocated accounts and reversals as costs come throughAdherence to all financial policies and proceduresAssist with processing of transactions for associated SunBet companiesCapturing of new contracts in MfilesAssist in billing of retail customers including preparing billing calculations and schedulesUpdate on progress and where necessary, escalate unresolved issuesRespond to and resolve first level queries with internal and external clientsDevelop and maintain sound working relationships with relevant departmentsKeep up to date with trends and services relating to the functions deliveryRequirements
Education
Diploma in Finance (Accounting) or extensive experienceExperience
2 years’ experience working within a finance environmentSkills and Knowledge
