Front Office Manager | Luxury Hotel | Durban
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Front Office Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Durban. This is a senior management role requiring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a proven background in managing large front office teams within a busy hospitality environment.
Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all front office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 25–30 staff members.
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Implement and uphold front office policies, procedures, and service standards.
Ensure effective staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Manage budgets, forecasting, and departmental cost controls.
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Front Office Manager in a busy hotel.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire large teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Previous experience in luxury hotel environments is highly advantageous.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining service excellence.
