Responsibilities
- People : Empower your engineering team to achieve technical excellence and meaningful impact by providing support, learning opportunities, constructive feedback, and alignment with company-wide KPIs. Foster strong, healthy teams through investing in people.
- Process : Optimize development practices to drive continuous improvement. Lead team meetings, plan and prioritize work, run retrospectives, and establish policies that enhance communication, collaboration, and code quality.
- Delivery : Ensure high-quality software delivery at a sustainable pace. Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize initiatives, define the roadmap, and drive technical improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
8+ years of proven leadership in software engineering teams, with hands-on experience as an engineer.Experience with database and backend technologies, including TypeScript, SQL / NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, SQL Server), cloud services, APIs (GraphQL / REST), and developer tooling is a plus.High standards for quality, ownership, and ability to balance pragmatism with impact; strong decision-making and sense of accountability.Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, with ability to articulate complex ideas and foster cross-team collaboration.Structured thinking with methodical problem-solving, goal setting, and stakeholder alignment.What’s it like to work at Prisma?
