We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business and support leadership with accurate, timely reporting. This is a remote, full-time role working U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours , ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment balancing bookkeeping precision with analytical insight and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger entries , bank reconciliations , and journal postings .
- Prepare monthly management accounts , P&L , balance sheet , and cash flow reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist with budget preparation , variance analysis , and forecasting .
- Support the Controller or Finance Manager in year-end audits and tax submissions .
- Review and enhance accounting workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS) and company policies.
