Qualifications & Experience
- BCom Degree in Finance, Governance, or related field (Essential)
- 45 years proven experience in tender management, procurement, or contracts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel Intermediate)
- Familiarity with e-tender ERP systems is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end tender process, from evaluation through to execution and closureFacilitate tender briefings, negotiations, and submissions with biddersPrepare, present, and report on tender progress and outcomes to stakeholdersEnsure all tender processes are conducted efficiently, accurately, and within deadlinesBuild and maintain supplier relationships, including partnerships with universities and strategic partnersLead negotiations to secure cost savings and ensure alignment with budgetsEnsure compliance with all internal policies, governance frameworks, and project timelinesSupport marketing and business development initiatives tied to tendersTraits & Competencies
