Overview

An opportunity has arisen in a public sector Department of Namibia Government which intends to design, develop and implement a brand-new corporate website project. Work can be done fully remote.

This is initially a 20‑week contract with opportunity for renewal.

Required Skills

  • Full stack development capability in multiple languages including PHP, .NET, Linux, HTML, C++, JavaScript, MySQL, JavaScript algorithms, front‑end libraries, APIs & microservices, HTML5, CSS3
  • CMS and Azure SaaS Platform
  • Back‑end database management; system integration; maintenance and quality assurance, including creating and maintaining corresponding APIs and third‑party plug‑ins
  • Online procurement and tendering system integration
  • Responsive designs
  • Security and performance optimization
  • AI‑powered chatbot integration and customization
  • User requests queueing management systems
  • Pop‑ups and highlights for active marketing campaigns
  • API integration with Vessel Traffic Systems (VTS) for real‑time vessel movement and port activity, gate automation system for real‑time tracking, e‑procurement system, terminal operating system
  • Analytics & SEO integration (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager)
  • Multi‑lingual module configurations
  • SSL encryption

    • Experience

    At least 10 years in development of large‑scale CMS and database‑driven websites.

    Qualifications

  • A Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering university degree
  • Microsoft Azure certification
