Job Type : Full-time | Hybrid

Location : Cape Town

Reporting directly to : Head of Software

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience with frontend engineering using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with React (or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue)
  • Expertise with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Cypress)
  • Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows (AJAX, Fetch, etc.)
  • Comfortable with Git and CI / CD pipelines

Nice to have

  • Experience with real-time data visualization (e.g. Babylon.js, D3.js, Three.js)
  • Exposure to sports technology or wearable tech environments

    • Responsibilities

    As part of their engineering team :

  • Build and maintain performant, user-friendly web interfaces for their sports technology products
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and improvements
  • Support data visualizations that help teams and athletes interpret performance data
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to improving UI / UX across platforms
  • Participate in an on-call rota to support live deployments
