Job descriptionGrade 12 National Certificate / Vocational Relevant qualification OR Certification in IT or software Development 6+ years proven experience in back-end software development, project delivery and implementation Programming / coding skills on Java Database systems and query optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Application development Advanced programming concepts Advanced algorithms and data structures Design Patterns Version Control New projects, new tech stack alignment to cloud based platforms. New team and expansion, exposure and collaboration with the Retail delivery team High pressure Engaged stakeholders Agile environment prone to change Young, vibrant, charismatic team. Doers and pioneers. High levels of ownership. Growing focus in Business Banking, investment in the R&R stream has been received to transform the tech landscape for improved risk management.
Purpose
To design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software systems and applications based on specifications, while adhering to established standards. The candidate will translate requirements from the business or technical analyst and actively participate with the delivery team in design and problem-solving.
