Group Management Accountant

Job descriptionBachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles or equivalent accounting qualification. Minimum 35 years experience in a similar management accounting role, preferably within manufacturing or engineering. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP / accounting systems (Syspro experience advantageous). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare consolidated management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Oversee budgets and forecasts, assisting business units with financial planning.
- Conduct cost and margin analysis to support pricing, production, and strategic decisions.
- Manage cash flow reporting and assist in liquidity planning across the group.
- Liaise with auditors and support audit preparation and compliance.
- Collaborate with management and operations to ensure sound financial controls and efficient reporting.
