• JOB SUMMARY
• The Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communication, cognitive / communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. He / she makes appropriate referrals inside the institution and to outside agencies as appropriate.
• JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION
• For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
• Minimum Required :
• M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology
• Preferred / Optional :
• None
• EXPERIENCE
• Minimum Required :
• Must have completed the fellowship year.
• Preferred / Optional :
• Two years clinical experience.
• CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
• The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
• Minimum Required :
• Current Wisconsin DRL Licensure / Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
• Preferred / Optional :
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at of hire.
