Responsibilities

• Effectively supervise the maintenance and repair functions of the complex, ensuring work is of a high quality standard and completed on time.
• Efficiently order and control machine parts and spares .
• Investigate and keep up to date with new products and technology which assist the company to use technology effectively and reduce costs.
• Ensure employees, buildings and equipment meet the relevant safety requirements in terms of the OHS Act and any other relevant regulations.
• Build and supervise a competent and motivated maintenance team .
• Ensure electricians and maintenance staff are on duty for every shift, and stand in to provide uninterrupted business operation where required.
• Drive the corporate culture and values across the maintenance department.
• Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately.

Desired Experience & Qualification

If you have these qualifications , join our team : Matric (NQF 4); Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance qualification; Qualified Electrician; Valid Wireman’s License (IE); good practical supervisory skills and at least ten years’ experience in maintenance. Own reliable transport and willingness to be on standby will be advantageous.
