Biosylx (Pty) Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, skilled, dynamic Accountant who will be responsible for the end to end accounting and financial management functions across all the South African entities. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing robust controls, compliance excellence and ensuring strategic financial reporting to the local Board and group.
Specific duties include :
- Statutory returns and compliance
- Financial management of the South African entities, including creditors, debtors, payroll and management accounts
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Oversee group’s fiscal activity, including treasury, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and auditing
- Ensure timely financial and statistical reports
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plan
- Design, implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and legislation
- Tax compliance for all streams
- IT coordination
- Risk management
Requirements :
Qualified Chartered Accountant3-5 years’ post-qualification experience with SME practice articlesExperience in the manufacturing industry will be advantageousStrong technical knowledge of IFRS, South African GAAP, and Companies Act requirementsSelf-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholdersDetail-orientated with commitment to accuracy and qualityComfortable working within an international group structure with overseas principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
