Senior Back-End Developer

A well-known marketing / brand tracking organization with branches in multiple overseas countries is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join their organization in Johannesburg. The Senior Back-End Developer will be responsible for the technical design and development of back-end components / services of a larger system while up-skilling on the front-end technologies of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements :

• Active working experience in building enterprise standard applications and server-side applications
• Experience in Agile development processes, using Jira, Git, etc.
• Working experience using multiple software development languages
• Active working experience in Python is essential
• Experience in Falcon, and FastAPI experience is beneficial and would be an advantage
• Working experience in Bash / Shell Scripting, and SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge / experience in Kafka would be an advantage
• Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure and Linux
• Experience in market research, marketing industries, and survey & sampling data would be beneficial.
