Learning Designer And Technologist (Remote)

ENVIRONMENT :

A dynamic Online Learning Platform seeks to fill the role of a Learning Designer and Technologist who will collaborate with stakeholders in the design and development of learning content aligned with curriculum and sound instructional design principles and pedagogy. The successful incumbent will require 2 -3 years of experience in learning design and using learning technology with the proven ability to translate a deep understanding of adult learning theory, design principles, and learning technology into practical solutions. You must also have proficiency in the following tools : Microsoft 360, Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), Adobe Suite (Illustrator), Descript, Canva Pro, Envato Elements, Grammarly and able to use OpenAI.

DUTIES

Learning Design -

• Create engaging and effective online learning experiences by collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts to ensure that content adheres to educational standards.
• Develop course / module structures, learning strategies and assessments that align with the unique needs of students.
• Write, review and revise educational materials to ensure clarity and engagement.
• Refine multimedia elements, ensuring these components enhance the overall course / module design.
• Support the continuous improvement of design and writing processes, contributing to team development and innovation.
• Create infographics, multimedia content for the student journey, and technology adoption for the Institution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring courses / modules are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Research pedagogy, instructional design, and subject matter to inform course.
