Cooling Specialist Packhouse Maintenance Technician

Brits Area North West : The Cooling Specialist is responsible for operating maintaining and repairing all cooling systems refrigeration units cold rooms and related electrical and mechanical equipment in the packhouse. This position also oversees general maintenance activities across the packhouse ensuring that control systems operate efficiently and that downtime is minimized.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g. Refrigeration Technician Electrical Trade Test or equivalent).
• 35 years of experience in refrigeration cooling systems or packhouse maintenance.
• Experience with agricultural packhouse environments preferred.
• Valid drivers license (Code 8 or higher).
• Knowledge of SANS electrical standards and occupational safety protocols advantageous.
