Requirements :
Relevant Tertiary qualification – preferably technically oriented.
Civil or Geotechnical BEng / BSc / BTech Qualification would be
advantageous
Must have strong applications and product knowledge.
5-10 years’ experience in Sales and / or Marketing in Civils and / or
Geosynthetics.
5-10 years’ experience of international business / travel into Africa.
Proficient in giving presentations and lectures in public forums,
including submission of technical papers, articles and technical
documents related to geosynthetics.
Risk Analysis - Ability to evaluate and determine risk matrix for Export
market through experience, product knowledge and market intel.
Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies using
geosynthetics.
Proven experience in preparing and presenting detailed design
proposals to clients.
Ability to develop detailed drawings and specifications.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines.
Experience in gathering client requirements and translating them into
design proposals
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing design
proposals.
Ability to review and ensure the quality of design deliverables
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new design technologies
and practices.
Must have good computer skills. Word; Excel; PowerPoint.
Knowledge of freight, logistics, international rates of exchange and key
economic indicators.
Good report writing skills for reports, agreements, memoranda of
understanding and design proposals.
