Job descriptionDesign compelling YouTube thumbnails and supporting visual assets to drive engagement. Incorporate motion graphics and animation to elevate storytelling and enhance viewer experience. Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency across all visual content. Write engaging and informative scripts for product and marketing videos. Craft SEO-optimised video descriptions, titles, and tags to improve discoverability and ranking. Conduct keyword research and apply YouTube SEO best practices to optimise content performance. Manage and optimise the company’s YouTube channel , ensuring videos are correctly categorised, tagged, and promoted. Monitor analytics to assess video performance and suggest data-driven improvements . Stay up to date with emerging video trends, algorithms, and SEO strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Matric Certificate and relevant Tertiary Qualification in Film, Media, Design, or related field. Proven experience as a Videographer & Editor with a strong, creative portfolio showcasing video, design, and content creation skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Lightroom). Excellent storytelling, editing, and visual communication skills. Working knowledge of SEO principles and YouTube optimisation techniques. Experience with animation and motion graphics is essential. Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving ability, and adaptability to feedback. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a creative team. Passionate about visual storytelling and digital media. Proactive, innovative, and deadline-driven. Strong sense of visual aesthetics and attention to brand tone. Confident communicator with a growth mindset.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile creator, skilled in videography, editing, motion graphics, copywriting, and YouTube SEO optimisation.
