Salary : R35,000 – R40,000 Negotiable DOE
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join a luxury restaurant group in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will lead the kitchen team, delivering high-quality cuisine and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Plan, design, and implement innovative menus that reflect the restaurant’s brand and style.
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a professional and motivated team.
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain cost control.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Collaborate with management to maintain high standards in service and guest experience.
Monitor kitchen performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
Requirements :
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail.
Leadership experience managing kitchen teams effectively.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
