Role Description

Contract role for an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer based on-site in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining Oracle Cloud infrastructure, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance. The engineer works closely with stakeholders to implement secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational needs. Collaboration and a focus on operational excellence are key priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Expertise in infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization
• Experience in system administration, including server and application management
• Knowledge of network security practices and protocols
• Proficiency in networking, including managing connectivity and performance
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification are a plus
• Preference for bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
